You can also use the STAR interview technique to help you structure your answers by focusing on the Situation, Task, Action and Result.
For example:
Situation: A customer was unhappy with their meal during a busy dinner rush.
Task: I needed to resolve the issue quickly while keeping service flowing.
Action: I listened to the customer, offered a replacement meal and checked in with the kitchen.
Result: The customer left happy and complimented the team on how well we handled it.
This kind of response shows problem-solving, customer focus, and teamwork—all key at Nando’s.
